Gene Grillo, Owner
Gene Grillo has over 35 years experience in the construction industry. He has been involved in the construction of thousands of homes throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition, he has operated as a General Contractor for more than 25 years, and participated in every aspect of Land Development Management. Aside from being licensed as a General Contractor, he has had training as a Solar Contractor, is a member of SIPA (Structural Insulated Panel Association), and is the recipient of a California State Energy Auditing Certificate. With his excellent knowledge and background in the construction field, Gene Grillo has served as an expert witness on many occasions. Other areas of expertise are in advanced foundations systems such as helical piers (steel piers lift in ground) and various slabs such as post tension, double steel mat and insulated concrete forms. David Helvey, Vice President
Dave Helvey has worked in the real estate market for the last 15 years in Santa Cruz and has been involved in the restoration and remodeling of older homes as well as the marketing and sale of homes for Century 21. He has been instrumental in the development and propagation of green building projects both locally and on a national level.
